In the beginning, the planet then known as Alkari was inhabited by a wide variety of species.
Unlike some other civilizations though, technology was the dominant idea.
A thousand years after the Times of Chaos a small group from the Malkazero Resistance arrived, hiding from the League of Shadows.
The Resistance mixed Magic and Science, and thrived on Alkari for a long time.
Then came the shadows...
After some conflict, The League of Shadows deemed Alkari to be an acceptable loss and decimated the population in 57 days.
There was not much left after that, but in the wasteland there was a bunker.
Of all the people in the world, one remained, One of the Resistance.
The survivor, a mage and scientist, known as Professor Yana, said to have been with the resistance from the start.
He started the Ketran Project, the final program.
It took him five years to modify his cells enough for the project to be successful, and 1162 years after the Times of Chaos, the Ketran came to as a species.
They took their first uncertain steps in the bunker, and found a trail of recordings that Yana had left them.
He taught them about his work and his vision for them, about the evils in the worlds, and why they where needed.
He gave them Six principals to govern by, and encouraged them to investigate the secrets they found.

Environmentalism-
-Environmentalism is a broad philosophy and social movement centered on a concern for the conservation and improvement of the natural environment, both for its own sake as well as its importance to civilization.
Emancipation-
-Emancipation is a term used to describe various efforts to obtain political rights or equality.
Free speech-
-Being able to speak freely without censorship.
Universal Suffrage-
-The extension of the right to vote to all adults, without distinction as to race, sex, belief, intelligence, or economic or social status.
Trias Politica-
-The state must be divided into three houses. Each with separate and independent powers and areas of responsibility.
--An executive (the branch of government responsible for the day-to-day management of the state.),
--A legislature (a type of representative deliberative assembly with the power to create, amend and ratify laws.),
--A judiciary (the system of courts which administer justice in the name of the sovereign or state, a mechanism for the resolution of disputes).
They immediately set on their task, and soon found another of Yana's projects, The Miik.
And as the years went on, the language evolved in a weird way, as the Ketran names became abstract and the language became metaphors ("I feel sorrow" could be "Yana. When he left". or "He is dead" is "Kiir. He is gone"). this made the Miik more important, as they seemed to have a natural telepathic ability.
